I finally sat down and watched Senna, the recent feature documentary about one of my early heroes – I was avoiding it as his death upset me
greatly at the time. However I’m very glad I watched it – It is an uplifting and
inspiring film even though, if you know the story (as half the world does) the inevitable tragedy finally arrives.
The film had some very sobering final words – Senna was two years younger than I am now when he died. I remember watching the grand prix on Sundays as a young boy gripped by his exploits...
